Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School — Release Date Guide

The announced launch date was November 5, 2026

The publisher lists November 5, 2026 as the release date. PlayStation's October 13 announcement also names November 5 for PS5. As of November 7, 2026, that announced date is in the past. See the publisher page and PlayStation announcement.

The captured official launch update says the game is out on Steam, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. This is a launch-status statement, not just an earlier release target. Official launch update.

Compare the platform announcements

The console and Steam list comes from the official launch update. Xbox on PC and Game Pass are named in Xbox Wire's November 4 article. Use the platforms page to distinguish those announcements from account-specific purchase and subscription access.

Separate dates from unlock hours

The available evidence establishes the announced calendar date, but not platform-by-platform regional unlock hours. November 5 should not be interpreted here as a verified midnight-release promise for every region. No time-zone conversion or exact regional schedule is provided.

For an access decision, identify your platform and regional storefront, then check the actual offer. The announcements above establish the chronology; they do not substitute for an account or regional availability check.

Keep the demo separate from the full release

Steam lists a separate downloadable demo alongside the full game. A demo download is therefore a different product choice from the full-game purchase. Official Steam listing.

Use the demo route for demo footage and version context. For the full game's documented opening progression, use the campaign guide.
